My stay at Bayview On The Park was a bit of a mixed bag. I loved the location and the entry was beautiful, but the room was uncomfortable, and I faced some issues with service quality. Despite these drawbacks, I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, though I wouldn’t call it really good overall.

Rooms
6.0
The room was an extra large setup with a couch and dining table, which was a plus. However, I noticed a lack of maintenance, like broken lights and an ineffective air conditioning unit. Not impressed with the bathroom amenities, either, as it only had a half-empty soap dispenser.
Service
6.0
Staff were mostly polite, but I encountered a hiccup when checking in regarding my room size. While they eventually rectified the foldaway bed situation, it shouldn't have been an issue in the first place. Overall, I felt the service could have been more attentive.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location is pretty great, right by Albert Park and close to trams that make getting around super easy. It’s a nice midway point between the city and St Kilda, which I found very convenient.
Dining
6.0
The buffet breakfast was good, but the food was only just warm, which wasn't ideal. The variety could've been better for the price paid, though. I would say it met my needs, but not much more than that.
Facilities
6.0
The pool area looked nice, but I didn’t get a chance to use it. The hotel had solid facilities overall, but the lack of proper maintenance really impacted my experience.

My stay at Bayview On The Park was largely enjoyable. I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, and the view from my room was fantastic. However, the parking situation left much to be desired, as it seemed quite chaotic and unorganized.

Rooms

The room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of Albert Park Lake. Although it was a bit dated, it didn't detract much from my experience.
Service
8.0
Staff members were attentive and responsive to my needs, making my stay more enjoyable. I felt like I built a good rapport with them during my time here.
Location

The location next to Albert Park was excellent. only a short distance from the CBD, making it convenient for my plans.
Dining
6.0
While the in-house dining options were limited, the overall experience was decent. I found the bar menu sufficient for a light meal after a busy day.
Facilities
6.0
Although the facilities were okay, the parking experience was subpar. it felt overcrowded and not what I expected for the price.

My recent stay at Bayview On The Park was a mixed experience. The location offered convenient access to nearby appointments, but the overall condition of the hotel feels outdated. The staff were friendly and helpful, yet the parking situation was a definite downside.

Rooms
6.0
The room was large and clean, with an old-style bathroom that included a bath. However, it had outdated features and a poor view overlooking a car park. I found the power points near the bed looked unsafe.
Service
6.0
The staff were great and always smiling, even though they seemed to be run off their feet. While they were friendly and helpful, at times they lacked the ability to deliver the service expected in a boutique setting.
Location
6.0
The location was handy for my conference and just a short 5-minute walk to the nearest tram stop, making it easy to explore. However, the surroundings felt isolated with limited dining options close by.
Dining
6.0
The in-house dining was reasonable, although the food could be improved—missing items like bacon and sausages. I did appreciate that the meals were fairly priced for hotel standards.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel provided basic amenities, yet the parking arrangement was frustrating. It felt more like a challenge than a convenience, especially with narrow layouts and local workers taking up space.

7.4/10

My recent stay at Bayview On The Park had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic—right across from Albert Park and just a short drive to my family in Caulfield. However, I found the hotel quite outdated, with worn carpets and a somewhat musty smell in my room. The service was mixed; while some staff were polite and helpful, I ran into issues with check-in that left me feeling frustrated.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms are definitely dated and could use a thorough cleaning. I stayed in two different rooms, and both had their share of issues, like old bathrooms and uncomfortable air conditioning.
Service
5.0
The service was hit or miss. While I had some friendly staff assisting me, I experienced some frustrating moments, including being given incorrect information about the WiFi and having to deal with delays during checkout.
Location
8.0
The location is a big plus—it's right in the heart of Melbourne and close to Albert Park, which was perfect for my plans. It was also a convenient walking distance to tram stops, making it easy to explore the city.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were pretty average. I found the food to be lukewarm and lacking variety, which was disappointing given the hotel’s otherwise pleasant setting.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were okay but felt dated. There was a pool, which was nice, but overall, the ambiance didn't quite meet my expectations due to the age of the hotel.

I had a mixed experience at Bayview On The Park. The location was great for my needs, being close to the hospital, but the hotel could really use a makeover. The room felt quite dated, and I was disappointed with the service sometimes, especially in the restaurant. However, I appreciated the friendly staff throughout my stay.

Rooms
6.0
My room was old-fashioned and cramped, with uncomfortable beds. I also dealt with issues like a shower curtain that smelled stale and a broken chair at the desk. Maintenance was slow to address concerns like the air conditioning, which was outdated. Overall, it lacked the modern touches expected from a four-star hotel.
Service
6.0
The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, but there were inconsistencies. I experienced some confusion at the reception and issues with room service, such as food arriving late or not at all. Housekeeping could have been more attentive as well.
Location
7.0
The hotel is located in a busy area, which was convenient for getting to the hospital and nearby parks, but the noise from the road could be disruptive. I appreciated the proximity to trams for easy access into the city, which provided a nice change of scenery.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was disappointing overall. Meals took far too long to arrive, and the quality was inconsistent. While I had decent food once, I also encountered issues like raw chicken in my husband's meal, which was unacceptable.
Facilities
5.0
While I noticed the pool looked nice, I didn't get the chance to use it. However, other facilities were lacking in maintenance and modernity. There was a general sense that the hotel’s physical state needed attention.
